Kelantan (Kota bahru) ~ Tune Hotel

OMG! I move again. Yeah, I move to Kota Bahru. And, I'm checking in to Tune Hotel. 

This is not the first time I stayed in Tune Hotel. My first experience is at Tune Hotel Penang. Tune Hotel Kota Bahru

is rated as two stars hotel. 

Rooms in Tune Hotel are available from second floor until ninth floor. You may find yourself a 24 hours Hayaki Cafe at first floor. Too bad, I never try their food though I have been staying here for three nights. It is because of there are many dining restaurants located nearby hotel. 

Of course, the hotel is just behind KB Mall. You may feed your tummy with food in KB Malls. 

Haha, may be I should give them a chance next time. 

The most important information to traveler who bring their car to east coast Malaysia is make sure you pay parking fee, else you have to get ready for paying summon. The local authorities are so efficient is giving out their summon on time (8am).

Concept of Tune Hotel is operated with limited service. A normal price RM70 (Double Bed) or Rm72 (2 Single Bed). Tune Hotels operates a limited service concept. Toileries, TV program, air-conditioner services, wireless connection are not provided with the basic charges. However, you need to pay extra fees for different types of add on. For example, 

1) Air-conditioning (RM16 per 12 hrs, RM22 per 24 hrs)

2) TV program channes (RM10.60 per day)

3) Towel Rental & Toiletries (RM6 per towel)

4) Wireless connection (RM12 per 24 hrs)

However, there are two types of package which offer you the room with added facilities

1) Cozy Package - include 24 hrs of air-conditioning, 1 set of towel and toiletry entertainment package, internet connection (24 hrs)

2) Comfort Package - include 24 hrs of air-conditioning, 1 set of towel and toiletry, entertainment package

A electronic key access card is important for door access and power supply for facilities in room.

Hairdryer, TV, fan, air-conditioner, power cords are turned on after card is inserted.

All information is stored inside access card. 

And, I take cozy package, which costs me RM129. Let's have a peek on the room. The room looks new and clean.

Ceiling fan with remote control. (My personal experience - actually, room with fan is more than enough, if you were a budget traveler)

5-stars bed (double bed) in room with window. The price is worth for the bed. You can have a good quality of sleep with the quality of the bed. The mattress is comfortable and the bed linen is clean.

Working desk, cloth hangers and toiletry set in recycled bag.

Tune Hotel is located at the city centre of Kota Bahru. Some of the tourism hot spots can be reached within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance such as Pasar Siti Khadijah, State Museum, Bazaar Tok Guru and more.
